The Rice Office of STEM Engagement (R-STEM) supports and promotes Rice University's wide-ranging efforts to improve K-12 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in all Greater Houston Area school districts. A STEM solution for educational disparity
R-STEM strives to provide quality professional development to K–12 STEM teachers in the greater Houston area. Since 2006, R-STEM has increasingly grown its program base and teaching staff to allow us to serve more teachers and students, and to continually broaden the greater impacts of STEM education as an integral part of K–12 education.
